SECOND
SHOOTING

punctual. reliable. professional.

As a lead photographer, you need someone punctual, reliable, and professional. Your reputation is built not just on the quality of the product you deliver, but the experience you provide to your clients. As Warren Buffett once said, "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it." I understand this dynamic. I know how to speak to clients (and when not to speak to clients), and I dress for the job (usually in a blue suit). I will represent you well.

I am a Canon shooter with a full suite of L-series zoom and prime lenses (I favor the primes for wedding days). I am comfortable with off-camera flash, and have three Canon radio-controlled Speedlites (two 600EX-IIs and one EL-1), umbrellas, and stands.

WEDDINGS

My portfolio is still under construction. Some of these images are quite old and are serving as placeholders. Please bear with me as I gradually update things.

meet your second
photographer

webb

Hey, I’m Webb! Nice to meet you. If you’re wondering who you'll be working with, you came to the right place. That’s me, there on the right.

I have been a photographer for almost 20 years, shooting both film and digital extensively, but photography isn't my day job. I'm an accountant by training, and photography has long been my creative outlet. I am competent and tasteful behind the camera, but I mention my "other" career because I have a great deal of experience in highly professional environments and client interface. With me, you are getting someone who will deliver great images, but you're also getting someone who is attentive to detail and knows how to represent you well. To see my portfolio, click here.

My MISSION

As a second shooter my job is to support you, the lead, and make your life easier. I know that this sometimes involves wrangling family members, holding bags, setting up light stands, and myriad other tasks that go beyond shooting. Sometimes it simply means staying out of the way.

A wedding day can be a stressful event, but if it is planned and orchestrated well, it doesn't have to be. When it goes well, the client experience seems effortless, meticulously planned; as if it were executed from memory. My goal is to do whatever you need to make that a reality.
